London to Brighton Bike Ride Success

Peter Bennett of Gilbert Stephens LLP Solicitors in Exeter is undertaking a 54 mile cycle challenge in a bid to raise funds for charity.

He is riding on June 19 in the British Heart Foundation's 2011 Bike Ride from London to Brighton. It is the biggest annual cycle event organised by the charity which should attract over 30,000 participants.

Peter will be joined by friend and client of the firm, Peter Rowlands, during the event which starts at Clapham Common, London, and finishes on Brighton's seafront.

"I took up cycling just over two years ago to improve my fitness levels and to take on the challenge has given me a good excuse to get out on my bike whilst also raising money for charity," said Peter Bennett.

The duo riding as "Team Gilbert Stephens LLP" hopes to complete the challenge in less than five hours and is on target to raise over £250.00 for the cause.
